The Beatles were the Big Thing when I was in high school. Your band brings back those days. Thanks for the memories! You guys are GREAT!! From where we were sitting on 7/2/09, you WERE the Beatles!

I enjoyed meeting up with my cousin (who I hadn't seen in 30 years) at the Lisle show. The show was great as usual.and thanks for the pictures afterward. I still have to ask though, where and when are you going to play Helter Skelter? :)

Great show last night in Lisle. You guys were dead on as always on a beautiful night. The fireworks starting just as "Hey Jude" was ending was remarkable. Thanks to you all for talking with us after the show and signing Pam's shirt. Barb and Chuck nice to see you again. See you all Saturday night in Joliet. Keep on rocking.

Hey Guys! You guys were Fab as usual tonight! My little brother really loved Yellow Submarine, he was singing louder than anyone around us! It was nice to hear Taxman! I was wondering if you guys know "Piggies", if you could play that next time would be AMAZING, I love that song! Anyway Love and Peace, Sarah!

I'd like to publicly thank the band for their generous donation of a guitar to the benefit for my friend Isabelle's family on Sunday, with particular thanks to Eric for dropping it by on the way to the rescheduled Northlake show. I sincerely appreciate all your support and help in getting the word out and I'm happy to report that the benefit was a great success! If any of you are still interested in making a donation, please contact me at s_martin60@hotmail.com and I will send you a list of ways that you can help. You guys are the best! :)

Suz, Eric has also sent me the information on how to make a donation and I'll be sending it out to all our fans on the mailing list later today. Glenn |

Went to your show in Cicero on June 26, and I had a blast! Sang every song that came up. I look forward to seeing many more shows. I am amazed how AE sounds so much like The Beatles. I recommend your shows to a lot of people. Can't wait to see another show.

American English IS-- an SSN Astute Class nuclear-powered submarine (United Kingdom model of course) with Rickenbacker 325 Block IV musical cruise missiles complete with "I'm Looking Through You" two-way satellite links, Hofner 500 ballast tanks, and Ludwig high-precision sonar systems that can detect an excited brine shrimp at a distance of up to 200 miles! All other Beatle-tribute bands are mere bathtub toys! That is all!

HELLO EVERYONE! :) Though it is a major bummer you had to make up for a rainout last night, for ME, it was PERFECT! I had gotten home 4 hours earlier and I decided I couldn't wait until Lisle! It was so good to see everyone! It was a great set and I finally got to hear "Eleanor Rigby"! Nice job KENNY! Great to see you all again and I'll see you in Lisle probably! :)

We went to the benifit at the Beacon Tap in Desplains on Sunday. It was packed with so many people you could barely move inside the building. We met a lot of wonderful people, and made some new friends. The band was great also. Glad to help

Well, last night's show (Sunday) in Northlake made up in two ways for us: l) we didn't go Saturday with the rain forecast; 2) we were thinking of the benefit for Isabella (we don't know her) but the response to Scott & Trigger sounded like you weren't really going to be performing, so we scrapped those plans. Then we got the Email about the make-up show for yesterday, and said, "Let's see them there"! Even though the three sets were half hour long each (l l/2 total) they were jam-packed with great songs, like "Help"!; Eleanor Rigby"; and "Birthday" (missed that one in Carol Stream)! Great waving to you, Young, from backstage before the show; and Kenny from behind your keyboard! Thanks guys for the hugs and talking to us amidst the fireworks! (It was easier for Barb(ie) to hug you over the ledge of the tent, then a table, Eric)! Also, thanks, Young and Eric, for "refreshing" your signatures on Chuck's cap!

Looking forward to this weekend in Joliet. I notice that the website schedule says that AE will play in the Events Center. Is that different from Stage 151 ?
29 June 2009 - Indy
Kevin, I received an e-mail from Harrah's that they would be playing at the Events Center rather than Stage 151. The event center is like an exhibition hall that holds more people than Stage 151. |
