Great show at the Dekalb Cornfest,AE!We remembered the fest from about a couple of years ago;and thought it was a nice enough fest to make the trip (a little more than an hour)! This new location-at the Airport was a little bit closer (about 50 mins.)! It was great waving at you, Frank, behind the fence before the show;and catching your eye,Doug, up on the stage;and waving to and then later hugging you Kenny, while we were saying Hi to Karol and Sharon (nice seeing you ladies)! Great set lists-switching the songs around;and depending on the type of venue! We were so glad we got the chance to say Bye to you by shaking hands over the fence, Eric and Tom, at the end of the show! We knew you had a private event to get to later that night. Well, we set up our chairs as usual right in the front row, then went into the little town of Cedarburg for some lunch, but by the time we got back, the weather had changed. Chairs still in the front row, a little wet and at one point decided to sit right down as the rain came, hoping that would make it stop. Talked for a moment with Rick and Mike, who are really nice guys. And then, the concert was finally called. Of course Lindsey was not happy. She wanted to ask you guys for a shout out during the Birthday song in Skokie. It will be her birthday. And you know how much it means to her. And to us. Again, thanks so much for the music.
