Sam Leach

Sam Leach was instrumental in the Beatles rise to fame as their original promoter and founder of the Merseybeat movement in Liverpool.  He has published several books on the early rise of the Beatles, appeared worldwide, giving lectures and speeches and is a true and loyal friend to American English and their fans. Site includes excerpts from his book, "The Birth of the Beatles," amusing Beatle stories and some great Beatle related photographs.

Songwriter, musician and vocalist, Denny Laine had his first solo performance at age 12.  In the early 60's, Denny formed the band, Denny Laine & The Diplomats, created The Moody Blues in 1964, and was one of the co-founders of Paul McCartney's band, Wings, in 1971.  Denny is currently working on a new album and writing his own biography.

SMK Music Works L.L.C. are involved in many facets of the music industry.  SMK Music Works is an umbrella company that covers the manufacture and repair of fine wood instruments, from the selection of the wood to the final set-up.  Also available are guitar tech services for touring bands.  They are the repair facilities for one of the largest guitar retailers in the Detroit area: Motor City Guitar.  They also offer 24 track analog recording facilities and a management/booking agency.
 

British Beatles Fan Club

The British Beatles Fan Club has grown out of the London Beatles Fan Club which has been producing its quarterly Fan Club magazine since Autumn 2000 (which in turn grew out the "Off the Beatle Track." It is a fans club run by fans for fans and they welcome contributions from fans all over the world, including articles, stories and letters.

Jay and the Americans

Johnny Star aka Jay Reincke, has been a longtime friend of American English and many rock n' roll fans have seen him over a span of 30 years as the lead singer for a Chicago group, Johnny Star & the Meteors.  Through a twist of fate, Jay is now the lead singer for Jay and the Americans and will be on tour soon with them.  Our congratulations go out to Jay and wish him much success!
